Board of Directors’ Meeting
April 28, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 9:31 AM in York.  Present were:  Paul Kemp, Betty Kooy, Mary Losee, Marsha Ketcham, Holly Beeman, Gretchen Lindner, Jack Jackson, David Nelson, Mike Jacobson, Peggy Speer, Lisa Ellis, Bruce Schomburg, Jeanie Neal, Al Johnson, Patrick Rowan, Brian Jensen, Mary Koscis,

Treasurer’s and Finance Chair Reports:  The reading of the financial reports was waived.

Committee Reports:
Registration Chair:  Betty Kooy recommends that the athlete and non athlete registration fees be $50, seasonal athletes $30 and seasonal clubs $100, all with no rebates.  Regular club fee should be $200 with a $75 rebate for having representatives at two HOD meetings.  Motion was made to accept recommendations.  Seconded.  Discussion followed.  Motion carried.

General Chair:  Mary Losee brought up that the purchase of Olympic Trials tickets by Midwestern Swimming was approved by the board at the last meeting, but it wasn’t specified as to how many seats or the price.  Discussion followed as to the number of tickets, price, location, disbursement of the tickets and the MW budget.  Motion was made to purchase twenty-one tickets at $475 each in section 221.  Seconded.  Motion carried.  A committee will decide how to allocate the tickets.

Officials’ chair report: Report was tabled until the next board meeting.  Other reports held for the HOD meeting.

Motion to adjourn.  Seconded. Carried. The meeting was adjourned at 10:01 AM.
