MW Qualifying Requirements and Process

*  Minimum Times: NAG BB (SCY)  or better time (10&U B)
   Achieved between September 1, 2025 through December 14, 2025
*  Times must be in the MW database as of December 15, 2025
*  Swimmer must be registered with USA Swimming for 2026
*  Team will be limited to 72 swimmers (max 12 swimmers per gender/age group; 10 & U, 11-12, 13-14)

*  Swimmers may swim up to 2 events per session; maximum 6 events for the meet (subject to change)
 
*  Point system will be used for team selection
   -  The team will be selected based on a high-point system  - using only events contested at All Star Meet
   -  Best event performance achieved between September 1, 2025 through December 14, 2025
    1st - 10 points, 2nd - 9 points, 3rd - 8 points, 4th - 7 points, 5th - 6 points
    6th - 5 points, 7th - 4 points, 8th - 3 points, 9th - 2 points, 10th - 1 point
 
*  All Star Coaches will chose events for swimmer and will put relays together based on overall swimmer performance.

Meet is a FAMILY Travel Meet
     MW has determined that this meet will be a FAMILY Travel Meet. Athletes will stay with their own families. 
 

Application for MW Team

2026 MW All Star Team Application  Closed
     Please complete the entire application and submit
     Please submit by December 1 if you have BB times and feel you may be chosen to participate in this meet (particularly if you rank within the Top 10 for age group and event). Applications will not be accepted after Dec 1!
     MW All Star Coaches will choose the athletes and events from the submitted applications
     Selection will be based on point system listed above.

2026 MW All Star Team Waiver and Code Forms (link sent to athletes)
     Waiver and Code Forms MUST be signed and submitted prior to December 26, 2025.(after team has been announced and links received)
 

Payment for Meet

Cost for Meet: $125.00 - (link sent to athletes)
     Includes coaching staff, gear, meet entries, team pictures
     Payment will be due by December 26, 2025 - AFTER the team has been chosen.Payment link will be sent to those chosen for team.

Meet Qualifying

Times must be achieved after September 1, 2025 and before
December 15, 2025.

Times must be in SWiMS and the Midwestern database..

MW will enter the athletes in the meet (Minimum BB time is required - 10 & Under minimum qual one BB and B). Coaches will pick events for athletes.

Athlete MUST be registered with USA Swimming and Midwestern for 2026.

Age Groups - All events TIMED FINALS;
     10 & Under -50, 100, 200 Free; 50, 100 back, breast, fly; 100, 200 IM; 200 Free/Med Relays
     11-12 - 50, 100, 200, 500 Free; 50, 100 back, breast, fly; 100, 200 IM;
200 Free/Med Relays
     13-14 - 50,  100, 200, 500 Free; 100, 200 back, breast, fly; 200, 400 IM; 400 Free/Med Relays

     Events subject to change by All Star host and committee.

Meet sessions subject to change from previous years
     Max 2 events per session, 6 events for the meet
     MW can score 5 per individual events; 2 per relay events
     Maximum 72 athletes for Midwestern
